Most important for making good wine are sane, fully ripe grapes.
So we intensely care for our vines. Grapes are picked and selected by
hand late, at the moment of ideal ripeness in order to get a maximum of
fruity aromas. We cultivate Tempranillo, Bobal, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot.
The two latter we planted newly.
Bobal is an old, sturdy variety which is cultivated almost exclusively in Utiel-Requena.
Our greatest "jewel" is a plot of very old Tempranillo-vines which regularly
produce high quality grapes.
