The variety Bobal is grown almost exclusively in Utiel-
Requena. It is as stubborn as the character of the people there
and well adapted to the climatic conditions. It may even
overcome a one year's drought. |

Deep red colour, opulent fruity aroma of cherries and
almonds, vigorous on the palate, intense ripe tannins. |

80 % Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot |
| Origin: |
Tempranillo is a common variety in the whole of Spain.
It enchants the wine by its elegance and fullness. Cabernet-
Sauvignon and Merlot are "world"-varieties which come
from Bordeaux. They add fresh fruit and structure to this
wine. 30% of the wine was aged in oak. |

Aromas of cassis and vanilla, on the palate mineral notes.
Vigorous structure, ripe and insistent tannins.
At the end nice fresh fruit. |

The Tempranillo-grapes come from 35 year old vines.
They give to this wine its typical structure and body.
A special selection of Cabernet-Sauvignon grapes adds
fruity aromas and elegance. The wine was aged in
French oak for 14 months. |

Aromas of stewed black fruits, chocolate and vanilla, on the
palate intense, somewhat sweet fruit, opulent and smooth
tannins, big aging potential. |

| Origin: |
The Tempranillo grapes for this wine are a prime selection
from our 35 year old vines. This high quality is obtained
only in exceptionally good vintages when maturity reaches
extraordinary concentration of all components in the grapes.
To refine structure and aromas we add a selection of
Cabernet-Sauvignon grapes.
The wine is aged in French oak for 20 months. |
